Technical Animator - Rigger

Responsibilities

  • A good understanding of the constraints coming from the game design, engine and hardware.

  • Define the technical constraints relating to the characters and animated objects.

  • Integrate the resources into the engine and ensure compliance with the constraints and performance monitoring.

  • Create advanced rigs and skinning for characters, creatures, and props.

  • Create and support tools to improve the rigging and animation pipeline, according to the project needs.

  • Help artistic teams to resolve technical issues.

  • Setup of character ragdolls and cloth physics.

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed

3D Character Artist

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality 3D character models from concept art and reference materials.

  • Ensure characters are optimized for use in a game engine (Unreal), collaborating close with Rigging - Animation.

  • Assist in creating and refining character designs, collaborating closely with the art and design to assure design doesn’t hinder reaching timeline restriction.

  • Help develop various character assets including clothing, accessories, and other detailed features.

  • Participate in team reviews, receiving and providing feedback on character design and technical implementation.

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed

Engine Programmer

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain physics-based systems using Unreal Engine, ensuring efficient production and a dynamic user experience

  • Develop, maintain, and improve upon physics-based systems while maintaining robust flexibility for use by game systems designers, technical artists and gameplay teams

  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing interactive objects, collision detection and physics simulations to ensure stability and performance

  • Create interactive objects, collision detection and physics simulations, ensuring adherence to performance, memory, compatibility, and portability requirements

  • Work on low level algorithms and simulations as well as on gameplay features that are built on top of them

  • Collaborate regularly with other departments to facilitate and support the invention, design, and implementation of new interactive features, production pipelines, and physics workflows

  • Maintain, debug and optimize code in these systems with full ownership from content creation tools to the runtime

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
